Ok, I actually forgot I signed this But I had an e-mail saying the the Prime Minister's office had now responded to the petition: "We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to resign." (for a variety of reasons). They've wrote back (though they seem to have mostly avoided the subject of the original petition!):

"The Prime Minister is completely focused on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all."
